U14 Girls V Eastern Harps

Our U-14 girls went down by 2 points in a Div 1 league match last night away in Gurteen. This was a superb performance against a very strong Eastern Harps team. We were leading for most of the game but found ourselves down by 2 points with five minutes to go. The girls kept battling, and in the last minute, a goal-line clearance by the Eastern Harps keeper denied Sinéad Keely the winning score. It was a great performance, and the girls are really starting to believe they belong in the top division. Next game is against St. Mary’s on Monday week in CuilbOur U-14 girls went down by 2 points in a Div 1 league match last night away in Gurteen.
